The length of the Chinese/Vietnamese border, a known spot of human trafficking, is 1445km. To raise awareness about trafficking, and funds for Hagar’s work in Vietnam with survivors of trafficking and other forms of abuse, we are hoping to collectively travel the length of the border in one day and are encouraging all riders to make a donation to Hagar as well.

This is a 100km ride from Mount Pleasant to Rangiora return. You can do the whole ride or just join in at any point to make up numbers and contribute some kms!

To raise a bit of extra cash and draw specific attention to the issue of forced marriage, and Vietnamese women being trafficked across the border and sold as brides in China, some of us will be riding in wedding attire! Come dressed in wedding outfits (optional of course!) 👰🏽
