Join in a group ‘bikepack’ from Action Bicycle Club to the Waikuku Beach campground via the Pegasus Bay Coastal Pathway 🚵🏿 and Tuithaitara trail from Pines Beach to Waikuku.
Once there, we will camp overnight and return to Christchurch the following day.
This event is mainly focused on those new to bike packing and those who are interested in cycle touring / adventures. Consider it a trial run for bigger adventures. You’ll learn tips, discover useful products and work on your tent pitching and camping skills! ⛺
Join our Pre-Ride Social on Thursday 15th at 5:30pm at Action Bicycle Club with a short introduction from Paul Barrett a Tour Aotearoa bike packer.
A pre-event talk or get together to advise and prepare new riders will also be organised based on numbers, so please R.S.V.P. if you’re keen on this too.
More seasoned bike packers are also welcomed.
