Your use of the Biketober Christchurch website means we may collect personal information from you, in particular if you use the MyPassport page to enter any of the Passport Competitions.

If you use Google or Facebook to login to MyPassport, we will collect the following information:

• Name
• Email address
• Destinations visited
• IP address and browser

We collect the information above in order to allow you to use MyPassport and for us to communicate with those who register to use MyPassport.

Besides our staff, we may share this information with our software developer in order to ensure correct function of MyPassport.

Note that you will be asked for permission to use your GPS location if you choose to show your position on the map and/or view a list of closest destinations.  However, Biketober Christchurch does NOT record your GPS location – it is only used to show your map position and view the closest destinations.

Providing your personal information is optional.  If you choose not to provide a Google or Facebook login, you will not be able to enter the Passport Competitions.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

If you want a copy of your information, or to have it corrected or deleted, please contact us using one of the methods below.  If you ask for your information to be deleted, we will remove your data (name, email and any destinations/stamps/IP addresses) within 7 days of receiving your request.
