Make a versatile wooden-framed bike trailer (or kayak trailer), complete with aluminium tow-bar and quick-release ball joint hitch.
A bike trailer is a superb way to extend your carrying capacity on a bike and lower your carbon footprint for all your load-carrying journeys. This workshop will focus on a wooden frame design which is very low cost and results in a light weight and strong trailer.
Bring your own wheels and bins, or they can be supplied for an extra charge. Plans will be available to build a frame to suit either a 100 or 120 litre bin, or two 85 litre bins. The plans can also be adapted to any size you wish. Bins cost $30-$50 each from Mitre 10 or Bunnings.
Register for the workshop by emailing your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org or text to 021-0619296.
