Merckx Time Trial

This is a free time trial event organised by the Canterbury Time Trial Association. ⌚ 🚴🏻‍♀️

Bring your vintage bike and ride with zero aero advantage! We’ll have prizes for best bike and best dressed rider (think woollen jerseys etc).

Registration from 5pm and trials start at 6pm. All riders welcome – kids make sure to bring a caregiver.

Notes:

A Merckx time trial is only raced on equipment suitable for mass start road races – no aero bars, wheels deeper than 40mm, aero helmets, skin suits or shoe covers, etc.
