Spokes Canterbury brings you a series of public talks on a variety of cycling topics. Doors are open early, so please support our host venues by ordering food and drinks.
For our final Thursday talk of Biketober we have Steven Muir of Aranui Bike Fixup and Cycle Trailers NZ speaking on “How Much Can a Bike Carry? 25 Years of Finding Out”.
Steven will talk about how he got inspired about cycling advocacy, the development of cycle trailers & cargo bikes with various stories of crazy loads and epic adventures towing kayaks to Arthurs Pass, and also about community bicycle workshops and reflect on how much difference all this is really making.
