Spokes Canterbury brings you Sunday Cycles – guided rides along some of the city’s major cycle routes from the centre of town. Meet in Latimer Square from 12:30pm for a rollout at 1pm. Each ride will typically follow a major cycle route out of town, navigate across to another cycle route and then return to the city centre using that. We will not be on cycle routes all of the time, so you need to be confident cycling on roads with traffic. We will make the rides around 20-25 km in length. There will be a social catch-up at the end of the ride at Scoundrel, 375 St Asaph St.
For the first Sunday we will venture to the north. We will be heading out of town on the Papanui Parallel Puari ki Papanui cycle route and the Northern Corridor cycle path, and then returning using the Northern Line Puari ki Pū-harakeke-nui cycle route. The ride length is 22.3 km
