Spokes Canterbury brings you Sunday Cycles – guided rides along some of the city’s major cycle routes from the centre of town. Meet in Latimer Square from 12:30pm for a rollout at 1pm. Each ride will typically follow a major cycle route out of town, navigate across to another cycle route and then return to the city centre using that. We will not be on cycle routes all of the time, so you need to be confident cycling on roads with traffic. We will make the rides around 20-25 km in length. There will be a social catch-up at the end of the ride at Scoundrel, 375 St Asaph St.
For the fourth and final Sunday of October we will be going to the southwest. We will be heading out of town on the Southern motorway path and Little River Puari ki Wairewa trail, navigating through Aidensfield and Halswell, and then returning using the Quarrymans Trail Puari ki Otūmatua cycle route. The ride length is 22.4 km
