ALL BIKES – ALL TERRAINS – ALL GOOD!
Showcasing our 2020 films with everything a cycling-centric audience could want: action, drama, humour, and plenty of inspiration. These short films are a great reminder of why we love to ride our bike.
NEWSFLASH: There are now TWO showings: 15 Oct @ 5:20 pm (Christchurch Art Gallery) and 16 Oct @ 7:30 pm (St Margaret’s College). Use the ticket link below to book for either session.
This year’s treasure chest of films includes a story that reminds you of the importance of finding your ‘why’, and that with a bike you can find a worthy adventure in your own backyard; a movie that shows inspiration can come in all shapes and sizes – sometimes that shape and size is a seven-year-old girl who likes to ride BMX; an audacious mountain climbing challenge; a tale of trees, traps and trails, a passage of three first timers on their way to Ironman Taupo; two friends on an environmental mission; a beautiful story about the power of two wheels and a community built through bicycling; and a part documentary/part fantasy with mountain bike illustrations that will have you looking for your rig and heading down the trail in search of the same kind of magic!
So…listen to the voice inside you; it’s telling you to go! Grab your mates, grab your tickets, GO ON… grab your bike and come along for the ride!!
Run time: 2¼ hours including a good old fashioned 20 minute interval!
BIKING TO THE EVENT: Bike park behind the swimming pool will be available to park and lock your bike.
