Terms of Entry (Biketober Passport)

  1. The Biketober Christchurch Organising Committee (“the Committee”) has set forth the following Terms of Entry for the Passport Competition and One-Day Challenge (“the events”).
  2. Entry into the events is deemed as acceptance of these Terms of Entry.
  3. The events are open to all people aged 13 years or over (“participants”).  Children under 13 may participate only if they are supervised by an adult while biking.  .
  4. Members of the Committee and their immediate family (or partners) are not eligible to win prizes.
  5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to be a participant.
  6. The events run during October as detailed on the What is the Passport page.
  7. Personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  8. The prizes for the events will be detailed on the What is the Passport page and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  9. The prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. The Committee reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  10. The Committee is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party to the events.
  11. Winners will be chosen as detailed on the What is the Passport page, from participants registered on the MyPassport app and verified by the Committee.
  12. Winners will be notified in person at the Passport Prize-Giving or by email if they do not attend.
  13. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Committee reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
  14. Winners must agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.
  15. The decisions of the Committee in respect of all matters to do with the events will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The Committee reserves the right to cancel or amend the events and these terms without notice in the case of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Committee’s control.  Any changes to the events will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the Committee.
